Paul S. Devrouax, Jr. Memorial Lecture

The 2016 Paul S. Devrouax, Jr. Memorial Lecture motivated the students at Bishop Walker School for Boys in November, 2015.

The Bishop Walker School "strives to alter the educational and social trajectory of children from traditionally underserved communities".

 

Tyrone Bradley, AIA and his associate Turner J. Lewis of Bradley/Parker & Associates, Architects of Alexandria, VA, presented a discussion on the History of Architecture, from Egypt to the present.   There was much interest and enthusiasm as well as  raised hands for comment and question.  Each student received a backpack containing tools for an aspiring young student of architecture.
